This is the black jumpsuit of ALL jumpsuits! I say that because the cut is AMAZING! La Petite Robe is one of my absolute favorite designers. I have probably mentioned that 100 times already. But it is usually in regard to brilliant colored dresses that all fit like a glove. The cutouts at the top of this jumpsuit give it some extra character and sass. The fabric feels almost like a wetsuit! Very unique. As for the rest of the look.... The bag is Tory Burch. The floral pumps are Nine West. The statement, rhinestone cuff is from Nordstrom. The pink, tassel earrings are from Bondi Markets. The lipstick is Candy Yum-Yum by MAC. Scroll down and get the look. This killer jumpsuit is still on the market!!! This plum dress with black leather accents around the shoulders is super classy. It's by Amy Matto. The cut is form fitting yet forgiving. It hits just above the knee. I had the opportunity to go on Sky News Australia's number one show again last night. Paul Murray is a really good broadcaster and is so welcoming every time I'm on his set. As far as the rest of the look goes.... the plum pumps and black leather bracelet are both from Jcrew. The large, crystal, post earrings are from Anthropologie. Scroll down to get similar looks for your own wardrobe!
Neutral tones and sequins are an unsuspecting yet perfect pair. Classy and elegant with a touch of pizazz. The neutral tones mute the scream that sparkle can sometimes bring... the kind that causes a dress to enter the room before the woman. It's all about the girl in the dress... not the just the dress right!? The under layer of this dress is nude in color. That hue combined with its fitted naturekeeps the tailored look... despite having a looser overlay.
I declare! I will wear this dress until the sequins fall off! I've probably worn it too many times as is. It was a West Village staple while I was living there. Hey! If there are different people at the events you're going to... and the dress is a hit... Do you really have to wear something new every time!? Every time I got to give it to GoodWill... I think... I'll just wear it ONE more time! Do you have any dresses like that?
Check out my handpicked goodies below. As always... let me know on social media if you find something that jives with your style!

Black Halo is tops. TOPS! Great designer. Today I got to be on Studio 10 again. ;-) A lovely morning show on Australia's Network 10. I wore this white, mesh detailed silhouette dress called, 'The Cicero.' But every time I wear a Black Halo dress I feel like I've picked a winner from my closet. They are typically quite fitted and almost look like they were perfectly personally tailored... seriously! So the dress is Black Halo. Silver sparkly peep toe pumps are Michael Kors. The silver and blue crystal bracelet is from Nordstrom in NC. The blue crystal earrings were a bridesmaids' gift from a wedding I was recently in down South. ;-)
My look of the day is focused around this Yumi Kim maxi dress. I feel like maxi dresses are the perfect 'go to' if I'm ever questioning what I ought to wear to an event. They can be dressed up or down. Perfect for a casual stroll along the Bondi Beach promenade ;-)... a bridal shower... wine tasting... dinner out on the town... meet the parents... picnic in the park... music festival... etc. Timeless. Yumi Kim is awesome for floral prints that will knock your socks off! So I've handpicked some of her maxi dresses. The tan and gold flats I'm wearing are by Sam Edelman. The necklaces and bracelets are all from Bondi Markets.... two exceptions... gold long chain is by Madewell... and the stud blue glass earrings are from Tasmania's Salamanca Markets. Today I wore a dress on Aussie morning TV that is actually very special to me! (Along with it being the color of a Georgia Peach ;-)) I wore it on my last day hosting Fox and Friends in New York City. I said goodbye to a lot of friends that day last September. Actually not goodbye, but so long/ see ya later. I've already been back to NYC to see a lot of them and hope to again in July when I'm back in the US. So here's the outfit breakdown... Peach Chiara Boni La Petite Robe rouched dress, Aldo ankle strap pumps, Michael Kors white belt latching bracelet, and JCrew glitzy earrings.
Today I did a guest appearance on Australia's The Today Show. It was a commentary segment about the President Trump - Prime Minister Turnbull meeting in NYC.
This pink body con dress is an exception to the body con dress rule in my book. Sometimes I think body con dresses can be WAY too tight and not flattering- but I think this has the perfect amount of room to be fitted and slender... yet not sausage-y! LOL The dress is by Kay Unger. The pink studded, gold cuff is J Crew. The t-strap, nude pumps are Nine West.

Getting a little fashion inspo from fresh and fruity summer sherbet. ;-) Growing up... I used to always get rainbow sherbet, orange sherbet, or raspberry sherbet when our family would go out for frozen treats. And if mom was feeling nice that day... I would get marshmallow creme as a topping! As for fashion... pink and orange together is sure to turn any frown upside down. So is the promenade down along Bondi Beach. Such a positive vibe. The dress is Trina Turk. The gold scrappy heels are Michael Kors. The gold chunky link bracelet is JCrew. PHOTO: Anna Kooiman, Bondi Beach, Lyndon Marceau
City slickin' around the greatest city in the world. Black sequins and a high waisted, silver accented skirt can't be beat. Lookout NYC! The fitted top and red bag are by Michael Kors. The skirt is Zara. The classic red lipstick is NARS. And the bling around my wrist is from Nordstrom. PHOTO: Anna Kooiman, New York City, Lydia Hudgens
Pink + Black = HOT Combo! Pink and black look great together. I wear this color combo a lot. I wore this dress while guest hosting the Aussie national morning TV show, Studio Ten. The designer is La Petite Robe Chiara Boni . The silver bracelet is Kate Spade. The pink and black pumps are Gwen Stefani. PHOTO: Studio Ten, Network Ten Australia
Patchwork, neon, and lace... all in one pretty little dress! It sounds too busy... but this dress... and the handpicked selections I've made below can help you pull it all together! This dress is by Trina Turk. As for accessories here... I love to layer several necklaces to come up with different looks. My current favorite is this turquoise number! I also enjoy wearing a wrist full of beachy bracelets with threads like these. Enjoy! PHOTO: Anna Kooiman, Bondi Beach, Lyndon Marceau
The top designer that you'll find in my closet right now... Chiara Boni La Petite Robe... It's tough to find a dress that's better all around. They fit like a glove... always come in the most brilliant and saturated colors... and they are made of a stretchy forgiving fabric. They are also great for television. Always a winner. The Louis Vuitton duffle and clutch are investment pieces. I have had both of them for a few years and plan to use them forever and ever AMEN! I am also loving wild shoes at the moment... and have always enjoyed a bit of J Crew statement jewelry.
